Maybe it's the plot to their next game. Men in black prevent the release of an old gen game that could rival new Gen games. Spies, evil investors (aka prepayers), and established financial corporations, lay obstacles in the path of an indie company to fail.

Or realistically, it's just a company trying to get a game to market with a lot of bad luck. Because they are going big instead of testing the waters first. They are also going the obsolete console route and no one is giving them any credit.

The biggest risk we took was selling the game at the production cost. Originally we wereunaware we were even doing this, but the first time someone ordered the game we noticed thePayPal fee. It had immediately delivered a negative balance. If that wasn't enough, for everyimprovement we planned carried yet another delay, which, thankfully, our customers were verypatient with

Was wondering what was up, appreciate the update [:WM]

I think the reason Paprium blew up is pretty simple. Pier Solar was pretty much underground and there was a lot of people who made out in the resale of Pier Solar, partly because of the long pauses between reprints.

Now with Paprium, more people know about [:WM] and feel fairly safe about buying a few copies, expecting lightning to strike twice. This time, it will be [:WM] who will make out like bandits, as no doubt the investor copies will flood the market. There will be a glut on ebay and in collections waiting for the opportune time to sell.

Another thing is, I feel that brawlers never died. Developers got lazy and stuck to models and 3D environments. Players just bought what was available. Hopefully, with the success of Paprium, the brawler will make a comeback.

I can confirm that this time, it´s really up to Paypal. Nobody should point the finger on Fonzie.

I know from a Paypal interna that they easily freeze accounts if they think there´s anything strange going on.

For example: If you logged into your Paypal account inside of the same country for many years and then you´re logging in from another country, they freeze your account. I live in Germany and never logged in from another country. But if I would go to the Swiss tomorrow and log in from there, they would freeze me. Why? Because it´s STRANGE. At least they think it is so.

[:wm] gained a lot of money with Paprium and Paypal simply thinks that there´s something illegal going on xD I feel sad for [:wm] that this happened and that the release of Paprium gets another delay without personal negligence. I know that people will still think that this Fonzie´s idea again, but it´s not.

But it IS Fonzie's idea to completely ignore his own forum and customer base.

There's no excuse for that.
Pretty sure they have the Internet in China and it would take all of 5 minutes to post an update to keep people happy.

I think it´s not really his ´idea´. After all the brutal hate he gained from the people here, it´s quite natural that he avoids this forum. I would do the same.

And no guys, please let´s not start that discussion again now, thanks.
